In an effort to broaden the interest base of our hobby, the Committee of the W C Club has embarked upon a promotional and developmental programme at grass roots level, targeting schools, children & parents,.
To this end the programme is aimed at building relationships with educational authorities, arranging school based exhibitions and educational meetings, and implementing organised school visits to our shows [especially the National and Regional Shows]. This will involve the sponsored ferrying of school children to and from the shows, thus enabling these children (organised in small groups supervised by experienced representatives of our Club) to be exposed to, acquire some knowledge and enjoy the beauty of up to 120 different breeds of fancy pigeons.
